Rooted in Healing

Rooted in Healing is a space for education and facilitated healing, guiding Muslims through the process of transforming intergenerational trauma and learning the skills to build a village of nourishing relationships.

Rooted in Healing is a trauma-informed initiative created to support Muslims in understanding and transforming intergenerational trauma by offering two interconnected pathways: Educational Modules + Process Groups.

If your days feel like this:

  • You’re carrying emotional weight that didn’t start with you

  • You’re surrounded by people, but feel unseen

  • You find yourself repeating patterns in relationships that leave you feeling alone

  • You know healing is possible and want to break the cycles, but the “how” feels unclear

  • You wonder if it’s even possible to feel deeply connected and whole

  • You’ve reached for support but felt misunderstood or dismissed

And you long for something different:

  • To understand the roots of your pain, including the ones passed down

  • To feel mirrored, heard, and held in community

  • To shift out of survival mode and into grounded presence

  • To build relationships that feel safe, mutual, and life-giving

  • To speak to yourself with compassion, not criticism

  • To grieve what was lost and make room for what can be

  • To heal forward for yourself and future generations
